Svenskt Tenn’s pot holder will liven up any kitchen with its beautiful prints designed by Josef Frank or Estrid Ericson. It is practical for warm pots and casserole dishes and adds a nice touch to kitchen interiors. This classic pot holder has the Aristidia print.
Josef Frank designed Tang, quite a bold print for its time, while in the coastal region of Falsterbo in the late 1920s. The name is derived from the Swedish word for seaweed, as the design contains several elements of the sea in the form of seaweed and starfish. The name Tang was later changed to Aristidia, after the Greek writer Aristides (150-100 B.C.).
The placement of the pattern may vary from the one in the picture.
