The base motif in Loops is meandering liana sprigs with tiebacks similar to those on sheaves of corn. Josef Frank drew the flower clusters in light and dark blue, alternating with yellow and orange. Loops was printed for the first time for Svenskt Tenn’s anniversary exhibition in 1974, but it was designed back in the beginning of the 1940s.
Josef Frank’s textiles with the 315 linen designation are best suited for curtains, pillows and other textile products. They can also be used as upholstery fabric on furniture that is not exposed to excessive wear, such as in the home.
