A naturalistic depiction of leaves and flowers from North America’s rich, leafy forests combined in this print into a single American tree, US Tree. The field manual, Trees of North America, was Josef Frank’s inspiration for this print. It is uncommon to have a print like this, that can’t be lined up side by side. Vertically, however, the US Tree print grows unhindered. Josef Frank designed US Tree in 1943-1945.
Josef Frank’s textiles with the 315 linen designation are best suited for curtains, pillows and other textile products. They can also be used as upholstery fabric on furniture that is not exposed to excessive wear, such as in the home.
