“The story of flowers” is found on cushions, trays and textile in Svenskt Tenn’s range. The print was created by Japanese design student Kotone Utsunomiya, in conjunction to Svenskt Tenn’s “Ten Textile Talents” exhibition in the spring of 2018. She was inspired by Josef Franks Mirakel print, in which she sensed a powerful energy. The overlapping and intersecting vines almost appear to be in conversation with one another and the dots scattered throughout the textile look like stars in an infinite universe.
