Glass is a material with infinite possibilities. Ryds Bilglas saw the recycling potential in the material (car glass) they work with on a daily basis. Designer and glass artist Erika Lagerbielke subsequently created the “Infinity” bowl made of recycled car glass. The bowl is handcrafted and mouth-blown at the Kosta Glassworks in Småland. As it is manufactured entirely by free hand, sizes may vary slightly. The raw material can also create variations in the colour of the glass. Each bowl has its own distinctive quality and unique character.

Erika Lagerbielke
Erika Lagerbielke is one of Sweden's most prominent designers and glass artists, and she is also a professor of Glass Design at Linnéuniversitetet (the Linné University) in Sweden. Erika collaborates with Orrefors Glassworks since 1982.
