Svenskt Tenn is in many ways associated with table settings, not least because of founder Estrid Ericson's outstanding and refined way of setting tables. But the company is also to some extent associated with tea. It was Estrid Ericson's favourite drink in life, and it was in her memory that Svenskt Tenn opened the Tea Room upstairs at the store on Strandvägen 5.
In the range, this love for tea is reflected, among other things, in the hand-painted, floral cups from French Marie Daage. These cups can be combined with the accompanying set of tableware, including saucers and bowls in different colours.
Among the cups in the range, we also find Signe Persson-Melin's beautiful variants with neat myrtle pattern and simple, decorative lines. These thin cups are made of the finest porcelain at Gustavsbergs Porslinsfabrik in Sweden.
A unique feature in Svenskt Tenn's range of cups is also those belonging to the children's set with mugs, bowls and plates designed by Ingegerd Råman in collaboration with Svenskt Tenn. Their pattern is sprung from Estrid Ericson's classic and well-known Elephant print in yellow, green and blue colours.
