Svenskt Tenn’s classic bags are loved all over the world; from Stockholm to New York and Shanghai. Inside, the weekend bag has a detachable key ring and two pockets, a larger one with zipper and a smaller one without. Josef Frank designed this print and Svenskt Tenn designed the form.
Josef Frank designed Tang, quite a bold print for its time, while in the coastal region of Falsterbo in the late 1920s. The name is derived from the Swedish word for seaweed, as the design contains several elements of the sea in the form of seaweed and starfish. The name Tang was later changed to Aristidia, after the Greek writer Aristides (150-100 B.C.).
