“Chintz” is found on both cushions and textile in Svenskt Tenn’s range. The print was created by design student Lisa Englund from Konstfack University, in conjunction to Svenskt Tenn’s “Ten Textile Talents” exhibition in the spring of 2018. Using Josef Frank´s US Tree print, she designed her own steam and filled it with imaginary plants inspired by Indian Chintz; hand-painted or block-printed fabric that was exported to Europe during the 1600-1700s.
Art nr: 108594
Design: Lisa Englund
Inner cushion: Duck feathers
Size: 50x50 cm
The design is printed on the front and back of the cushion. Each individual cushion is unique and therefore the placement of the design varies from the cushion in the picture.
The dimensions of the inner cushion are shown in the box. The cushion cover, which has a zipper at the bottom, is a couple of centimetres smaller so the cushion will look nice and plump.
The inner cushion is included in the price.
