Colourful, ceramic table lamp, created by Swedish artist Liselotte Watkins and produced by the renowned company Bitossi in Italy. The Sole table lamp is adorned with Watkins characteristic women-motif. It is part of her “Via Sallustiana” interior collection, named after the street in Rome where Liselotte lives together with her family. The collection reflects how a Swedish childhood finds new resonance in life as a woman in Italy. The childhood's enterprising female figures and the Swedish applied arts that both earned and praised them, are depicted here through a life as a woman, mother and artist. A colourful ovation to the matriarchy, power, responsibility and the body. To the woman as a human – without being apologetic.
