Josef Frank designed a lampshade for every one of his lamp models. Originally, all of them were in white textile, but Estrid Ericson later had them sewn up in textiles with prints of Josef Frank and other designers. This linen lampshade has the Manhattan print.
Josef Frank lived and worked in Manhattan, New York from 1941-1946. He found Manhattan’s city plan so interesting in its simplicity, that he created the Manhattan print, which shows a map of the island.
Lampshade 1257 fits Floor lamp 2326 and 2568. It is used along with a shade holder with ring that is sold separately.
