Josef Frank designed this long, spacious sofa in the late 1930s. The back of the sofa is divided by cord which adds to the exciting details. According to Josef Frank, the modern home should be a place for rest and comfort. Cushions and a double-spring system provide maximum comfort.

    Josef Frank

Josef Frank grew up in Vienna and studied architecture at Konstgewerbeschule. In the 1920s he designed housing estates and large residential blocks built around common courtyards in a Vienna with severe housing shortages. In 1925 he started the Haus & Garten interior firm together with architect colleagues Oskar Wlach and Walther Sobotka. • Care instructions

All types of feather cushions need to be puffed up to maintain their resilience. Shake and puff up the cushions regularly and knead them to loosen up any feather bunches.

The legs are screwed on and may need to be tightened from time to time.
For additional protection we recommend ordering extra covers for the armrests. Svenskt Tenn also offers stain guarding for further protection.
