The table can be specially ordered with leaves in plated glass or leather.
The table is handcrafted in Sweden.
Brass, glass och powdered coated metal. Optional extras: mirror and leather in green, black or light brown.
Per Öberg designed the Nizza coffee table, which is a further development on a table he designed for his private apartment in Nice. His inspiration came from the wrought-iron furniture typically found in the south of France. Nizza’s glass cabinet form is in the spirit of Estrid Ericson, with trays that pull out and glass for display. The legs, with their brass paws, enclose the glass shelf in the same way as in furniture designed by Josef Frank.
Architect Per Öberg studied at Lund University from 1974-1979. After a number of internships he began working at Tengbom architecture firm, before starting Per Öberg Arkitekt AB in 1983.
Wipe Svenskt Tenn’s glass tables with glass cleaner and a soft cloth. To clean the frame, use a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent or soapy water. Make sure to wipe the surface dry immediately.
Lacquered or coated pieces can be harmed by direct contact with heat and prolonged humidity. Scratches can be extra visible on colour-coated surfaces, but at the same time, these are also part of the table’s character. If there is deeper damage to the metal, we recommend you to contact an expert to avoid corrosion.
