Chair 970 was designed by Josef Frank in the 1920s for the Haus und Garten (House and Garden) company and was produced by Svenskt Tenn in 1938. In 1968, the chair was displayed in mahogany with a woven rattan seat at the Nationalmuseum’s Josef Frank retrospective. Now the chair is being produced in mahogany with a leather seat.
