Josef Frank was inspired by the ancient Greek Klismos chair when he designed Chair 300. This type of chair arrived in Sweden in the late 1700s and can be found at Gustaf III’s Haga Castle, among other places. Josef Frank’s version was designed in 1925.
The chair is handcrafted in Sweden.
