A roomy and beautiful wallet in one of Josef Frank's many prints. The wallet has four pockets for credit cards, one large pocket for bills and one coin pocket sealed with a zipper.
In the print, Tre Öar i Svarta Havet (Three Islands in the Black Sea), the black background represents the sea. Islands glimmer like three violet-coloured fields behind vines teeming with flowers, leaves and fruit. This was the first print that Josef Frank designed for Svenskt Tenn. It marked the beginning of a new era for the company and Estrid Ericson had it framed and hung it up in her private apartment on Strandvägen in Stockholm. Josef Frank designed the print in 1936.
