The sculptor Anna Petrus designed, among other things, cast iron columns for the Swedish pavilion at the World exhibition in Paris, 1925. Details from these columns would then be transformed into flowerpots. One of them is Flower Pot No. 1, which today is made by Näfveqvarn in Sweden. Each flowerpot is cast in its own sand form, and each pot can therefore vary slightly in its form.

  • Care instructions

Cast iron is a material that changes over time. Properly maintained, a cast iron product can last for generations. The patina the cast iron gets over time is part of the product's unique value. Näfveqvarn's products are finished with alcohol-based paint to withstand moisture and water. If you want to give new shine to the product, you can brush it with a wire brush.
