In two volumes, Published Writings 1910-1930 and Published Writings 1931-1965, all Josef Frank's published texts are collected. Many are now for the first time available in English, but published with the German originals. Josef Frank’s critical, polemical texts, which followed developments in Austria during the interwar period and the years after World War II, centers on topics such as architecture, modern housing and urban planning.
In the richly illustrated books are also his treatise on Leon Battista Alberti from the year 1910, the only book he published: Architecture as symbol.
