Decorate with lighting

LIGHTING PHILOSOPHY LESS IS A BORE

There should be at least five light sources in every room. The light from a ceiling lamp is best used for cleaning and doing housework. The rest of the time, the light ought to be lower down, and at several different heights. That was Josef Frank's thoughts behind decorating with lighting. In these pictures we adhere to this philosophy, and since Svenskt Tenn's founder Estrid Ericson collected a variety of objects, a collector's everyday life is also depicted in a contemporary way.

To the right is the Fusa table lamp; one of the latest launches in Svenskt Tenn's lighting range. The lamp is designed by Luca Nichetto and inspired by Josef Frank's Terrazzo print.

Table Lamp Fusa

Table lamp 2552 was designed by Josef Frank in 1938. The lamp has a light and airy appearance, and the light bulb holder is a beautiful detail, visible under the lampshade. All of which are typical elements of Josef Frank's lamp design.
