Svenskt Tenn in Finland

During spring and summer 2018, Svenskt Tenn will be heading to Finland, with representation in three places in the capital region. There will be opportunities here to discover the company’s more than ninety-year old history, design collaborations and timeless creations by Josef Frank and Estrid Ericson.

At the Didrichsen Art Museum, the history of the founder of Svenskt Tenn, Estrid Ericson, and the Austrian architect and designer Josef Frank is being exhibited. The company’s evolvement over the years is presented through interiors, table settings, models and archive material.

Hanaholmen

Hanaholmen Cultural Centre will hold a summer exhibition about Svenskt Tenn’s contemporary range and design collaborations. There will be an opportunity to discover pewter objects, porcelain, vases, furniture, lights and textiles by some of the most skilled designers of our time.

Stockmann

Svenskt Tenn is opening a Pop-Up store at Stockmann in the centre of Helsinki with 100 square metres on the fourth floor filled with modern and classic design. There will be a selection from Svenskt Tenn’s product range.

History

In October 1924, Svenskt Tenn opens on Smålandsgatan in Stockholm. Only thirty years old, Estrid Ericson, invests her father’s inheritance in her own company.
