Fabric compose one of Svenskt Tenn’s most well known departments, in particular Josef Frank’s rich, floral cretonnes. He was enormously productive, designing some 160 patterns. 

Being a keen botany enthusiast, Josef Frank used nature’s own colours and forms to create a feeling of freedom and openness in the most closed environments. It was his way of making a home a refuge from the hectic city life. Josef Frank’s fabrics conceal a wealth of new exciting details to help restore a feeling of harmony and well being.

Today we use some 40 different patterns in our production, and we use the fabrics in curtains, lampshades, cushions, tablemats, tea cosies, wall material and the upholstery for our sofas. In our textiles department we will also be happy to help sew bedspreads and dusters, pillows, cushions, tablecloths, roller blinds, screen curtains, drapes or shades.
