  • Designer

    Sigurd Persson (1914-2002) was a Swedish designer and sculptor, born and raised in Helsingborg. He began his career as a silversmith and over time he began to work as a glassmaker and sculptor. During the 1950s and 1960s, he created mostly everyday industrial design like pots and cutlery. In the 1970s – 1980s he started working more with colourful and sculptural glass.

  • Care instructions

    To clean, use a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent or soapy water. Make sure to wipe the surface dry immediately. Dry in the direction of the material’s grain.

    Lacquered or coated pieces can be harmed by direct contact with heat and prolonged humidity. Remember that water-filled vases can cause condensation. Never leave water or other liquids to dry by themselves on the surface as this can miscolour it or cause calcium deposits. Scratches can be extra visible on colour-coated surfaces, but at the same time, these are also part of the table's character. If there is deeper damage to the metal, we recommend you to contact an expert to avoid corrosion.
