The “New Swedish Pewter” collection was created prior to Svenskt Tenn’s 80-year anniversary in 2004. It was developed by 10 female Swedish designers to honour Svenskt Tenn’s founder Estrid Ericsson. The two vases designed by Annica Jarring are based on a silicone prototype where a soft, ringed silicone string makes what appear to be spontaneous shapes. The vivid expression is then transfered to the pewter vases.
