The Aristidia pattern was designed by Josef Frank in the 1930s but now,
for the first time, graces a series of leather products. Aristidia was
named after the Greek writer Aristides (about 150-100 B.C.), but it is
perhaps easier to see the connection to the pattern’s original name Tang
(Seaweed) with the images of both starfish and seaweed.
