Armchair 652 was designed by Josef Frank in 1936 and three years later, it was used at the Golden Gate Exhibition in San Francisco. This elegant armchair has a high openwork back of rounded spindles joined by a crossbar, which creates a geometrically airy design. Josef Frank often mixed different types of wood and material for an exciting design.
Armchair 652 is here shown with textile horsehair.
