Bowl with Ring Pewter
The “New Swedish Pewter” collection was created prior to Svenskt Tenn’s 80-year anniversary in 2004. It was developed by 10 female Swedish designers to honour Svenskt Tenn’s founder Estrid Ericsson. Margot Barolo got her inspiration for this ceramic bowl from people’s desire to pierce themselves. The result is two different-sized bowls, each pierced on the side with a heavy pewter ring.
