Vase Collar Pewter
The “New Swedish Pewter” collection was created prior to Svenskt Tenn’s 80-year anniversary in 2004. It was developed by 10 female Swedish designers to honour Svenskt Tenn’s founder Estrid Ericsson. The Krage vase was designed by Anna von Schewen and is made of glass with a pewter collar. Anna wanted to re-work pewter’s powder gray colour and faintness and give it a new feeling by combining the characteristic pewter surfaces with the transparent, polished glass.
