Note Book Teheran
The name Teheran (Tehran in English), as well as the small, radiant flowers, indicates that the pattern is an interpretation of a Persian carpet. The lobed leaves in a variety of colours are reminiscent of the plant dye colours madder, wild mignonette and indigo. Teheran was designed in the 1940s, but wasn’t printed until 1991.
