Candle Holder The Knot of Friendship Brass
During a time of great turmoil in Europe, Josef Frank designed the candlestick Knuten. Knuten or the Knot is an abbreviation for “Vänskapsknuten” which means the friendship knot that for Frank was a symbol for peace and friendship. The first sketch of the candelabra is from 1938, one year before the outbreak of the Second World War.
