Swedish Tenn's range of products is constantly evolving as contemporary design complements legacy products by Josef Frank and Estrid Ericson. Jakob Solgren, born 1976, and Eric Ericson, born 1972, have received exclusive assignments for new functional pewter designs by Svenskt Tenn.
Eric Ericson, artist, designer and writer, who first gained attention for his book ’’Letters to society’’, has chosen to make a handheld pewter mirror and a small table with pewter top, hand engraved by himself, in a limited edition of five.
The designer Jakob Solgren, currently studying for a Master's degree at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, has created a series of pewter containers in which he has combined Estrid Ericson's obsession for for semi-precious stones with elements from his own earlier designs.
